No episode this week
Sorry folks, its exam time and we warned that things might get a bit messed up. There won’t be an episode for this week, so expect the next one sometime after the 7th of May. We’ll have a few interesting things to talk about, although given that its a week away, I don’t want to tease you with them right now, since who knows what new news can happen in that time.
Anyhow, sorry again for no new podcast, and we’ll see you in a week.

5. The Geeked Out Networking Episode
Two weeks later, and we’ve worked on our time keeping a lot – just a touch over an hour, and more or less ten minutes per item.
Its an extravaganza, covering a whole range of subjects, a bunch of which are networking related, hence the name of the episode. Specifically, we talk about:
Tim O’Reilly’s blogging code of conduct
EMI to sell non-DRM’ed music through the iTunes music store
BT to stop providing ISDN service. Everyone but the BBC breathes a sigh of relief
And the usual round-up of our latest gaming habits

4. The Episode of Significant Length
To compensate for the crappiness of our previous episode, Luke and Col present a double length epic saga, now that we have time to sit down and record it. So, without further ado, play episode 4 which covers the following subjects:
PlayStation 3 launch and Luke gets his hands on one to try
Our Apple-Watch section, dealing with all things stylish and sexy
– AppleTV, Leopard and a new Apple store in the UK
Twitter, the new craze sweeping the internet.
“Hi-Tech Threat to Private Life” – What a silly report!
The Blogosphere erupts over death threats against prominent bloggers
And our usual roundup of games we have been playing lately – WoW (obviously), Warioware and Marvel Ultimate Alliance

3. Sorry!
OK, this is a brief thing because we felt that rather than ignore our listeners, you guys deserved to at least know why we weren’t able to do a show this week. We’re just really swamped with coursework right now, and that sounds like a load of BS, but honestly, the end of term is crazy time for us. We’re planning a big show (stories willing) for the next episode. I give a quick recap of the last two weeks
BBC content appearing on YouTube – Legally!
Our Wii dates were GARBAGE (not our fault)

Luke and Col get together to talk a giant chunk of randomness (seriously, its HUGE) about a bunch of topics, including:
Sony to “reduce” focus on PS3 backwards compatability.
UK Wii release titles for March
Wireless users “do more online”
And a discussion of games we’ve been playing recently – Finaly Fantasy XII, Okami and Supreme Commander
Featuring music from the forthcoming album “My Magnificent Octopus” by Edinburgh based Sub-Opt. (Remember – Their album launch is Saturday 3rd March 7pm in the Bongo Club, Edinburgh – please go support them!)

1. The Jamie Zawinski Episode
In this, the inaugral episode (kind of) of Digitally Deluded, Luke and Col get together to talk about:
OscarTorrents – The unofficial Oscars site where you can download and vote for who should win what. (source)
Steve Jobs on DRM – Steve has something to say, and the music industry maybe ought to maybe pay attention (source)
Wikipedia – Are they closing down in 3-4 months as is being reported almost everywhere?
GoogleMail – Finally open to everyone!
Mobile Phones – Teachers call for a ban on mobile phones after an “incident” (source)
How will this software get my users laid? – A question Jamie Zawinski asks, and then answers. (source)
